What is Discover?
Discover is Flavrdex's community recipe space — a growing collection of real recipes from real home cooks. Browse by category, search by keyword or ingredient, and copy any recipe straight into your own collection.
Free accounts contribute to and browse the community. Paid accounts control which recipes stay private — perfect for family heirlooms you want to keep close.
Common Questions
Do my recipes automatically go public on a free account?
Yes. On the free plan, recipes and recipe books are shared to Discover so other users can discover and enjoy them. If you'd like to keep specific recipes private, you'll need an Individual or Family plan.
Can I still share a private recipe with someone?
Yes. Private recipes won't appear in Discover, but you can always generate a share link and send it directly to anyone you choose — no account required for the recipient.
How does the Family plan work?
One subscription covers up to 4 members. Each member gets their own Flavrdex account with their own recipes. You'll also have a shared family recipe space that everyone can contribute to and browse.
Is it really ad-free?
Always. Every plan — including the free tier — is 100% ad-free. No ads, no pop-ups, no sponsored results. That's a promise.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. If you downgrade to free, your private recipes will become public on Discover.
